So, let’s talk about matters of the heart. When a woman becomes pregnant, the first
indicator searched for is the baby’s heartbeat. That same heartbeat will continue to
grow and sustain life until it ends. At that time, the same absence of sound confirms life
is over when verified by a professional. Should one desire to calculate a heartbeat at
60 beats a minute for 80 years of life, the grand total would be 2,522,880,000 beats.
Therefore, the matters of the heart must seem very important.
February is American Heart Month. Plan now to wear red on the 1st day of February
showing support. Next, put into motion a few simple habits working toward a healthy
heart:
- Exercise 30 minutes a day
- Know your blood pressure numbers, regardless of your age
- Eat low salt diet
- Read the Bible every day
- Attend church weekly
- Communicate with God

Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. (Psalm 51:10
King James Version, Holy Bible)
With focus and determination both physically and spiritually, it’s in your power to
succeed.
In doing so, those 2.5 plus billion lifetime beats create something very special-
A Healthy You! Now, don’t miss a beat!
