As the season changes from summer to fall, activities change to festivities. A quick search online allows one to find a festival, concert or event with delicious food and fun. An excellent example would be the Tennessee Valley Fair in Knoxville September 5-13. It is 10 days of concerts, rides, exhibits, competitions and so much more. This is just one of many annual events coming soon. Don’t miss it!

Another event coming to our loving community is the 6th annual First Love on Main (FLOM) Dental Week 2025. This “event” may not be quite as fun as the fair, but it is a needed ministry that serves many people. During the week of September 15-19, the FLOM dental community rallies together to offer their services providing free dental extractions and hygienist exams at scheduled visits in various locations around Morristown. Last year this service provided dental assistance to over 80 people at no cost. Even more exciting is that 2 precious souls prayed to receive Christ as their Saviour. We are hoping to serve beyond that number this year!

It may be the thing you’re mainly looking forward to is cooler temperatures. That is a pleasant event too. Take time to enjoy great festivities this fall with family and friends. Don’t forget to mark your calendar about dental week. This is important if dental work can assist your health needs. However, should some be looking for a way to Volunteer, there are many opportunities and your help is needed!! The areas where volunteers will be needed for this week are clerical, friendly greeters, translators, as well as assistants, hygienist and Dentist.
